Corporate Event at the Omni Hotel / Ft. Lauderdale

When you spend days deep in conference sessions, you need to trade spreadsheets for sunglasses. On September 24th, the Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel turned into a coastal paradise for the Avalara CRUSH Beach Bash, and as the DJ for the night, I can tell you it was next-level.

Stepping inside felt like walking onto a sun-drenched beach at dusk. With ocean-blue lighting washes, golden-hour amber uplighting, and lush tropical greenery, attendees ditched their conference blazers for resort-casual vibes.

The custom Lifeguard Tower DJ Booth with a beachfront backdrop really integrated with the island vibe nicely. Sitting centerstage in the tower gave me a great view to pump out high-energy line dances, tropical anthems, and crowd-pleasing remixes that kept the dance floor going.
