Corporate Holiday Party Aboard the Caprice Yacht

Lubrizol Fundraisers held their annual event aboard the Caprice Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 12/4/2024.  Approximately 50 co-workers and guests boarded the Caprice that Wednesday night for a 4 hour cruise along the S. Florida Intercostal water ways.  They were all directed to the top deck for the cocktail hour, then they all came down to the main deck for a buffet style dinner.  I played a mix of tropical tunes for the first hour, easy listening jazz for the dinner portion of the cruise then I bumped it up a bit for the dancing/party set.  I took plenty of requests for top 40, latin favorites and some of the newer group dances from this fun group of guests.  They also enjoyed a dessert/coffee and tea station on the mid deck where I am set-up on the yacht.  As the Caprice approached the dock I played Closing Time by Semisonic and that put a bow on a terrific corporate cruise.

Congrats to Lubrizol for another successful season and I hope to see them all again next year.
