Karaoke Chaos Aboard the Caprice Yacht
Ahoy, mateys! On December 5, I hosted a karaoke party aboard the Caprice yacht for SCS engineers—an event I can only describe as a mash-up of "Titanic" and “American Idol”!
As guests boarded, they zoomed straight to the top deck for cocktail hour. Honestly, I thought I might be left alone with the lifebuoys. But once the bubbly flowed, they finally stumbled downstairs for dinner. After a few toasts (and possibly mispronounced names), the real fun began.
I cranked up the music with everything from pop to Latin beats. Then, in a dramatic moment that would make Shakespeare proud, I announced karaoke! You’d think I unleashed a pack of wolves. They sang their hearts out like they were auditioning for Broadway!
Eventually, I had to pry the mic from their hands just to make my final thank-you announcement. By then, I was convinced I should have charged for tickets!
