Corporate Holiday Party Aboard the Catalina Yacht

I had the great pleasure of DJing the Corporate Holiday Party for Datacore on the Catalina Yacht on December 16, 2022. I played a mix of Christmas hits and songs from my Ultimate Cocktail Playlist as guests arrived. Miriam coordinated the event and was wonderful to work with! The biggest hit of the night was the CEO Dave's flashy red jacket which had prizes dangling from it. During Cocktail Hour everyone enjoyed the cool breeze on the Ft Lauderdale Intra Coastal Waterway. For dinner I played softer music while everyone enjoyed conversation. Then I turned the mic over to Dave and Miriam who thanked the employees and talked about long nights at the office and challenges they overcame the last two years. Then I played music and sound effects as Dave went around the room giving away prizes that were dangling from his red jacket. The final prize was the jacket himself and the "raffle" was surprisingly won by.. Dave! So he got to keep his jacket! After that I got people up on the Dance Floor with songs like I Will Survive, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, and the Cupid Shuffle. I played a set of Latin music as well with Shakira - Objection Tango and Celia Cruz - La Vida Es Un Carnaval. The party was a blast and everyone had a great time. I hope I get to DJ the Datacore Party next year!
