Corporate Holiday Party at a Private Residence

On Saturday December 10^th It was fun to play at a private residence for a holiday party.  They had servers walking around passing gourmet appetizers and a bar for refreshments.  As the guesst entered the back of the residence, I played some upbeat house jazz while they were socializing before dinner.  Within an hour, dinner was ready to be served at the buffet stations but just before that, the owner made a thank you speech to the employees. When that was finished, dinner was served.  While guests were eating, I played some 80’s and 90’s smooth pop.  As soon as dinner was over, the dance floor opened and I played some disco, 80’s and 90’s dance pop music. Then I threw a little bit of Spanish music in there.
