Corporate Holiday Party at Deer Creek Country Club

I had the pleasure of DJing the Christmas Party for the City of Pompano Beach at Deer Creek Country Club on December 3, 2022. People from all different departments in Pompano were there! The party started with Cocktail Hour in a separate room. I played Christmas Music from Wham! Mariah Carey, Josh Groban as well as some new hits like Taylor Swift - Anti Hero. Cocktail hour was both inside and outside and in a different room so I set up a separate system. After cocktail hour we moved to the main banquet room and I introduced the emcee Wade who came in wearing a red kilt to a hard rock version of Jingle Bell Rock. Wade stole the show and did a fantastic job! During dinner I continued with soft Christmas music mixed with other dinner music. After dinner Wade took the mic and raffled off prizes including a ride on the Goodyear Blimp! After that everyone grabbed a glow stick and the lights went off and I played Cypress Hill Jump Around. Then I mixed in Usher - Yeah, Saweetie - My Type, Rick James - Super Freak and Nicki Minaj - Super Freaky Girl. Then we did the Cupid Shuffle and the Wobble. Later in the night I played songs by request from the Bee Gees, Anne Murray, and Journey. I also mixed in some Latin from Romeo Santos and Elvis Crespo. The Pompano Beach party was a wonderful time and I hope to do it again next year!
