Corporate Holiday Party at the Boca Raton Hotel

I had the great pleasure of DJing the annual corporate Christmas Party for Advanced Media on December 9, 2022 at the Boca Raton Hotel. The Boca Hotel is built like a fortress and could have its own Mayor. We were set up in the Cathedral Room which is designed like an actual cathedral. First we had cocktail hour outside in the garden area. It was perfect weather and I played holiday music mixed with current and classic pop music from Maroon 5, Elton John, John Legend and Katy Perry. After about an hour we came inside to the cathedral room and the president of AdvancedMedia gave a short speech before dinner. Deibys raffled off prizes. I played the drumroll and some Price is Right Music for the winners! During dinner I played holiday hits and dinner music. Deibys brought in a caricature artists who was drawing the guests pictures all night. After dinner it was time to dance as I played classic and current Dance Music from Pitbull to Disco and then from Merengue to Salsa to Bad Bunny. Everyone danced and had a great time. I had some requests for some 80s and Freestyle Music and I was happy to play some. Rick James Superfreak got everybody on the floor. I threw in some specialty dances like the Cupid Shuffle and ended the night with Time of My Life by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes.
