The IPC Holiday Party was a huge success! The event was held in the clubhouse of the beautiful Country Club of Florida in Gulf, Florida on Saturday, December 7th, 2013.
Beginning at 6:30pm, DJ Erik Lee provided an assortment of jazz, big band and easy listening for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. The employees of IPC Answers were a lively bunch and they quickly took to the ambiance of the event.
At 7:15pm, dinner service began, I continued to provide a wonderful assortment of Jazz, Big Band and Easy Listening as background music. During the dinner an employee of IPC Answers presented a slide show. In order to accommodate and give the slide show the spotlight, I switched to a more mellow instrumental selection of music.
At exactly 8:30, per the request of the party, I began the themed dance music for the evening. IPC Answers requested 6 songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s. Due to the varying lengths of each playlist and the evenings schedule, I had to get creative and put my skills to work. Each decade and a team leader for it was emceed by DJ Erik Lee. Per the request of the party I had a little fun with the crowd and made a few jokes that went over well. The dance floor was packed, lively and energetic.
At 10:00pm, the music was opened up for requests. I was very responsive and met all of the requests in the allotted 30 minutes. The evening ended promptly at 10:30pm, per the request of the party. At the closing of the event, I made a light announcement thanking the party for a fun and lively night.
