Corporate Holiday Party at The Grille / Pier 66

On Saturday December 15th, 2012 I played for Florida United Radiology's Holiday Party on the patio of Grille 66. After the cocktail hour and dinner our guests were ready to PARTY!  Cha Cha slide started the evening along with selections from the 80’s such “ Holiday” Madonna, KC and the Sunshine Band  “ That’s the Way I Like It” and selections from Michael Jackson “ P.Y.T” and “ Wanna Be Startin’ Something”. We got a conga line going when “Conga” Gloria Estefan was played.  Our guests also rocked to “Party Rock Anthem” LMFAO; Usher “Yeah” “On the Floor” Jennifer and Don Omar “Danza Kuduro”. This crowd came to party and that was evident when “Tres Deseos (Three Wishes)” Gloria Estefan was played. This is one of many merengue selections played Saturday evening. One of the guests came to me and asked if I had any Old School /Hip Hop; and we had a new party started. We played B.I.G. "Big Poppa”, “Hypnotize”; Public Enemy and we had to play some J- more.  Well all good things had to come to an end… when we played “Save the Last Dance” Michael Buble which I thought was the last dance, as I was asked to play one more. With the approval of the staff at Grill 66, Rihanna “We Found Love” was played. Still it was not the end, as the staff at the Grill asked to play Donna Summers “Last Dance” Happy Holidays to you all!! From DJ Handel
