Corporate Holiday Party at the Hilton Hotel / Ft. Lauderdale Beach

Johnson & Johnson December 13th, 2012 8pm-1am Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. I welcomed the Johnson & Johnson guests to this great 80’s themed Holiday Party with the Top 80’s Hits. All the guests showed up dressed to impress with the best 80’s outfits I’ve seen. During Dinner I played some easy listening 80’s Music, keeping the theme of the party going. After Dinner there was a special presentation on a projector screen to show appreciation to all the employees for the company through the years and a summary of the accomplishments of the company during the year.  Awards were given out to the employees that succeeded above and beyond. After that the 80’s Karaoke Party began, with DJ Frankie catering to the guests requests for several 80’s songs. Everyone had a blast singing karaoke song after karaoke song. Most songs were sang by the entire party, because everyone loved the songs that were requested. I mixed songs in between the karaoke choices, which the guests enjoyed and sang along to. The guests loved the 80’s music so  I was spinning what they were requesting  in karaoke versions so they could have the lyrics on the screen to sing along. A special request was made to play “Gangnam Style” By PSY for everyone to dance to. This was a Big Hit as all the guests loved this song and were dancing all over the room. Once it got close to Mid-Night DJ Frankie was asked to do a New Years reenactment. An announcement was made  for all the guests to have a glass of Champagne ready for the count down. All the guests filled with excitement rushed to fill there glasses and got ready for this special reenactment. I played a New Years count down at 11:59:50 p.m. Everyone counted down to midnight along with myself, and the guests went wild. At 12a.m. “Auld Lang Syne (Dance Remix)” was played and everyone started jumping around and having the time of their lives. After the mock New Years countdown the karaoke party continued as I played hit after hit of the best 80’s Karaoke music for the amazing guests. Everyone had a wonderful time and boogied down to 80’s hits all night. Ending the party with the guests all singing “My Way” By Frank Sinatra. As the music faded DJ Frankie from Eddie B. and Company announced that he hopes everyone had a great time tonight and wished them all a Happy Holiday and Happy New Year!
