Corporate Holiday Party at the Hilton Hotel/Miami Airport

On Friday December 15th I had the pleasure to play for the Costex holiday party at the DoubleTree by Hilton Convention Center. Approximately 300 of Costex employees and partners attended their yearly event. Cocktail hour took place in the main foyer, I played a mix of Salsa Kings to go with their party theme Havana nights. Once cocktail hour concluded guests were invited to main south ballroom with an opening show of myself and percussionist Mandy to set the party mood of the evening. Sarah, the master of ceremonies for the evening welcomed everyone one in, followed by an employees got talent video presentation a special part of the evening where employees showed their special talents outside of work place. During dinner I played a mix of salsa instrumentals. Once dinner concluded Mitchel a costex employee presented a amazing magic show, once magic show concluded raffles took place. Finally it was time to party, Mandy and I made sure we would rock the house, we started the party with “Conga” by Miami Sound Machine, we had a conga line going through out the ballroom, from there on I mixed the hottest tracks of salsa, merengue, bachata, Latin house and many more. Last song of the evening was to “celebration” by Kool & The Gang.
