Corporate Holiday Party at the Riverside Hotel
Good Day Bloggers! DJ Gregg is back with another event recap!
On Sunday 12/16/18, I was the DJ for Fisher and Phillips Law Firm. It was held at the Riverside Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale.
As the guests arrived on the patio, I was instructed to play traditional Holiday music.. Burl Ives, Bill Cosby, etc. It was a great way to get into the spirit of the season.
After the cocktail hour we invited all of the guests to sit down for dinner.
The manager Tracy came up and welcomed everyone. She was very happy that everyone came!
Soon after that, the serving stations opened and everyone ate dinner. It was a great spread!
After dinner is when the games started. We had an 80's theme all night. So, i was asked to do a "Name that Tune" set. I picked 10 songs and played a few bars of each. Hoping that everyone would get all 10. There were a couple of people that came close, but the DJ was able to stump them all!
The dancing started shortly after that. I played 80's all evening. It was a lot of fun and quite nostalgic!
The dance floor was bust throughout the evening.
