Corporate Holiday Party at the Trump National Doral / Miami

The Miami Dade Federal Credit Union celebrated their annual Holiday Bash on 12/6/2014 in grand fashion.  The Trump Nation Doral in Miami, FL was the location for an amazing night filled with great food, drinks and music.  Marla was my go-to person who was in-charge of the event planning and only had one request.  She explained to me that for the past 3 years the only complaint that the guests had about the event was that the DJs they hired were terrible!!  Well the pressure was on for me until I looked over the approximate 400 guests in the crowd and noticed a large mix of Caribbeans, Latinos, Americans and Afro-Americans all between the ages of 25 and 60.  No pressure here!!!  During the 5 station meal the president of the company had a raffle and a few awards to give away then the dance floor opened up.  It wasn't long before the guests began to fill the dance floor as I played a mix of, Salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton, top 40, soca, calypso, r&b and Hip-Hop.  I took a few requests for the group dances like the Wobble, The Cha Cha Slide and the Cupid Shuffle as the co-workers and guests dance the night away.  As I played the last few songs, Marla came over to me and gave me a great big hug.  She said that all she received the entire evening was positive feedback from everyone on how great the music was.  It's safe to say I will see these folks next year for their event.  Congrats M.D.F.C.U. on another successful year!!
