Corporate Holiday Party at the Westin Hotel / Ft. Lauderdale
Saturday evening December 7th, 2013 at The Westin Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, 300 employees of Motion Network held there 14th annual Holiday Party. During cocktail hour that was held by the pool area, I played Holiday music that was upbeat and then changed over to Top 40 upbeat music to set the party mood.
Once inside the main ballroom, the owner of the company did her welcome speech and then two purses were served and the food stations were open. As requested, during dinner I played some more holiday music.
Once dinner was over the party began with of course Blurred Lines, Party Rock, some Pitbull and the Cupid Shuffle. A big Latin crowd was on hand so I played some Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and many more latin songs as I changed it up to accommodate all invited guests.
With about an hour to party, the owners of the company did some raffle prizes. The owner mentioned that once the bar shuts down people usual leave. But not with DJ Marc around. The party rocked til the very last minute of the event. The Owner approached me and Thanked me for a great job and keeping the party rocking until the very end.
