Happy Holidays from Ft. Lauderdale Boat Parade 2011
A long long day; but enjoyable Saturday December 10th, 2011 Ft. Lauderdale Boat Parade.
Our guest from the Galleria Mall boarded the "Caprice" in front of the Briney Pub along the New River.
We were on the best boat of all because our star was the one and only Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer on top of the "Caprice".
One would think that their is only one version of "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer"; to my amazement I came across 12 different version that we started to play after the boat left the dock.
We had "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" rocking on the top deck (that system manned by my Son) as we passed the review stand and on the second deck we rocked the guests to holiday music such as "Feliz Navidad"; "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" the Kenny G version; "Jingle Bell Rock"; " Ay, Ay, Ay It's Christmas" by Rickey Martin; "Wizards In Winter (Instrumental)" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra; "Sleigh Ride" Kenny G. We also had Jazz favorites mixed in with our Holiday Music; "Rock Your Body" Jazz instrumental; "Viva La Vida (Instrumental) by Cold Play; "Smooth Criminal (Instrumental)" a Michael Jackson hit jazz style. Although our guest were socializing and moving between decks, after a while it was obvious they came to party and they did to such hits as Usher "DJ got Us Falling In Love Again"; Taio Cruz "Dynamite". We also got them dancing to "Dollar Wine" by Byron Lee; "Conga "; Cha Cha Slide. Our guest also enjoyed "Tres Deseos (Three Wishes) 12" Remix" by Gloria Estefan; "Suavemente" by Elvis Crespo Latin hits; "Got To Be Real" by Cheryl Lynn. We had some Reggae lovers in the house because "Dude" by Beenie Man Feat. Ms Thing; "Murder She Wrote" by Chaka Demus & Pliers.
We docked at the Double Tree hotel after the parade and they left with happy smiles.
Happy Holidays everyone.
