Dance Party at the Aberdeen Country Club
Friday night, January 10th, at the Aberdeen Country Club in Boynton Beach is where the members enjoyed dinner and music and prepared for some dancing. Eddie B & Company provides DJ entertainment twice a month during the season.
As dinner was being served I was asked to play low volume music so the guests can talk to one another. Jobim, The Rat Pack, some Michael Buble and many easy listening tunes. A few of the members even asked me to play some slow music while they ate so they can get close a little earlier then normal.
Once dinner was complete, I played the Rumba, Latin Music, some Disco and even Blurred Lines and The Black Eye Peas. Lady in Red, The Way You Look Tonight were just a few of the slow songs played as the couples gathered on the floor.
I even got out on the dance floor and do some line dancing and taught the Cupid shuffle...that was interesting.
