Friday
night,
February 28th, at The Aberdeen Country Club in Boynton Beach is where the members enjoyed dinner and music and prepared for some dancing.
As dinner was being served I was asked to play low music so the guests can talk to one another. Jobim, The Rat Pack, some M. Buble and many soft listening music. A few of the members even asked me to play some slow music while they ate so they can get close a little earlier then normal. Unforgettable, Unchained Melodies, After The Lovin and many more slow Jams.
Once dinner was complete, I played the Rumba, Latin Music, some Disco and even Blurred Lines and The Black Eye Peas. Lady in Red, The Way You Look Tonight were just a few of the slow songs played as the couples gathered on the floor. Members who had not attended the dinner dances had approached me and show there gratitude.
Another successful Friday evening at Aberdeen. DJ/MC Marc Evans
