Dinner Party at the Aberdeen Country Club
Friday evening April 26th, 2013 at the Aberdeen Country Club is
where the members had there annual dinner party. For the first hour I played
quiet and classy dinner music. This included Jazz and a few artists such as
Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and many more from the rat pack.
After dinner
was over with the few members that remained. They danced to the 70's. Good
Times, Celebration, Disco Inferno and many more from that era. After another
group of people finished eating they wanted to dance to swing such as Frank,
Bobby Darin, Dean Martin and Stevie Wonder. Then I picked up the pace for a few
couples that danced to the Love Shack, I Saw Her Standing There and even The
Twist.
Though it was a small group they danced to the music of there
choice and remained until the end of the party. A couple even approached me to
thank me for the swing music as they love to dance.
