Guests were elated when they entered this very romantic and very elegant reception. Today's weddings are uniquely special. With clients opting for more intimate guest numbers, the room decor becomes more extravagant at affordable costs.

 

 

Medallion Occasion Boutique and I have had the pleasure of working and collaborating on events for over 19 years and this past weekend together we had the pleasure of working with Vita and Carl at the Hyatt Pier 66. Vita and Carl is an amazing couple...after an illness earlier in August, the couple had to postpone their amazing day until September 11. To honor the heroes of Sept. 11 and create a special anniversary date for them they choice 9/11.

 

 

It was amazing...

 

Noel, known as a South Florida top Wedding Planer & Designer, created a regal room fully draped in burgundy velvet which set the ambiance for a formal reception. Noel and her team designed, with the bride, linens that were damask and burgundy flock overlays over gold silk floor length linens. The centerpieces were elaborate and abundant featuring 300 deep red roses and purple calla lilies. The rooms' lighting of gold LED created a palatial mood...needless to say; we enjoyed the decor as much as the guests did. Especially the gold gem furniture that was selected for the lounge...

 

Vita and Carl wowed us all by their taste in music...they loved hip-hop and so did the guests. Mom and family loved Barry White, so the night was as magical and interesting as music and decor would allow... it's nice to see that decor is back in style. This is why we love what we do! (To the staff at the Hyatt, especially Robert and Jerry, those pre hors d'oeuvres you plated...were greatly appreciated and the lamb chops Stellar!)

 

 

To Eddie B: "Wow...we are thrilled that you were our DJ...From our first meeting to the very last song of the evening, you were an outstanding professional whose knowledge and appreciation of our needs made our wedding everything we had hoped for. It seems no matter whom we spoke to your credentials and praises were of the highest caliber. Carl and I want to thank you for truly interpreting our guests and knowing when and what music selection to play. As a young bride and groom our choice of music was hip-hop, you advised us correctly with the Barry White choices for my Mom and her sisters was right on! I was afraid of hiring a DJ for silly reasons but so glad that Medallion and others convinced me to....You made it seems like we were friends when announcing all the special requests and toasts we made...you created an atmosphere which we wanted to dance even those of us who couldn't, and kept the party at just the perfect rhythm with style and class. We hope to celebrate each or every 5-year anniversaries with you. Wishing every bride and groom the same joy you honored us with.
