Engagement Party Aboard the Caprice Yacht

It was my pleasure to DJ Rebecca and Curtis's Engagement Party on board the Caprice Yacht on November 27, 2021. The night began with Cocktail Hour while I played some soft music like John Legend's "All of Me" and the new Adele "Easy On Me" and some rock music like Cage the Elephant's "No Rest for the Wicked".. Rebecca's Father Conrad and his wife danced to John Prine's "Let's Talk Dirty In Hawaiian" After Cocktail Hour it was dinner time and Mr. Martin and Curtis's father both spoke about Rebecca and Curtis and how happy they are. After dinner it was time to dance! I played a mixture of 70s, funk, rock and current dance music from Bruno Mars' "24K Magic", to Michael Jackson's "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough", Sister Sledge's "We Are Family" and "Old Time Rock and Roll" by Bob Seger.  A few times I slowed it down with Righteous Brothers "Unchained Melody" and the Clapton Classic "Wonderful Tonight". I played some requests including "I'm One" by the Who as a dedication to Mr. Martin and his wife, "Dixie Chicken" by Littlefeet and "I, Me, Mine" by the Beatles.. The party went on for five hours and everybody was dancing and having a good time! The night ended with one of the guests singing Donna Summer's "Last Dance" and "Closing Song" by Red Peters. I hope I have the honor of being the DJ at Rebecca and Curtis's Wedding. Best wishes to them both!
