Father / Daughter Dance Aboard the Catalina Yacht

On May 18 2024, 100 fathers and 100 daughters came aboard the Catalina Yacht of the Sun Dream Yacht Charters  for their father daughter dance.  While our guests started boarding the Catalina, I played some top 40 pop hits.  The fathers were enjoying some adult beverages, while their daughters had Shirley Temples and sodas.  As the boat left the dock, we started playing with the little ladies, I played cupid shuffle, cha cha slide, YMCA…..etc. I also played some Taylor swift, Justin Bieber and other top pop artists.  Later on through the night dinner was served and everyone was invited down to the lower deck to enjoy the buffet stations.  I played some soft top 40’s pop. As dinner ended, all the daughters came back to the upper deck and the fathers stayed in the lower deck. The fathers were getting set up for their father/daughter dance.  All the fathers came up to the upper deck with LED lit roses for their dance with their daughters.  They danced to “Daughters”, “Never Grow Up”, “My Wish”, and “Hero”.  Then right after those 4 slow songs, the fathers enjoyed one of their old time favorites “Sweet Child O Mine”.  For the rest of the night the ladies danced to their favorites.

Special thanks to the crew for taking care of all the little ladies and their fathers hospitalities. Also, thank you captain for a great ride down the intercostal waterways.
