On Thursday 9/15/2011 I had the privilege of playing for a benefit fund raiser for RAGFL (Real-estate Association of Greater FL.  The event took place at Pier 66 on the top floor overlooking Fort Lauderdale (a spectacular view).  There were over 150 guests who were treated to cocktails, appetizers and some good music.  There was also a live and a silent auction taking place throughout the evening.  To my surprise someone requested 70's music and that got the dancers on the floor.  I say surprise because usually at these private functions there is no dancing.  Well these folks changed my perception quickly.  It was supposed to be a 2 hour event but I stayed 45 min extra.  It was the least I could do for this fun and energetic crowd. Hope too see his group again soon!!
