High School Prom at the Riverside Hotel

On Friday April 21st I was playing at the beautiful Riverside Hotel in Las Olas for the Moore Haven High School Prom. There were 140 graduates in attendance to enjoy one final party as high school seniors before going off to college. The students were bussed in from Moore Haven for the special event, complete with a cocktail hour on the terrace and hors doeuvres throughout the night. A professional photographer was stationed next door to take pictures of the couples and groups of friends all dressed up for one amazing night. I Invited them into the main room around 8:15pm for dinner while I played some current R&B as background music while the students enjoyed their meal. Shortly after dinner, I invited everyone to the hallway to vote for Prom King and Queen before we partied the rest of the night. The crowd was dancing all night to a mix of Hip Hop, Latin, and Pop Hits. I had some dance floor lights illuminating the whole room to create a club-like atmosphere. Congratulations to Carlos and Tonoy for winning Prom King and Queen! You guys worked hard for it and it was well deserved. Thanks to all the graduates for being such a great crowd.
