Homecoming Dance at The Westin Hotel / Fort Lauderdale Beach

Cardinal Gibbons High School Homecoming 2023 at The Westin Ft. Lauderdale.

On Saturday, October 28th I was playing at The Westin in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for the Cardinal Gibbons High School Homecoming dance. There were over 750 students in attendance to enjoy one big party that started when they all walked in. The students were bussed in for the special event, complete with a huge dance floor and a fun Game Time theme with different tables decorated like the best board games we've all played growing up. I Invited them into the main room around 7:00pm for a buffet style dinner while I played some current Pop hits for them to enjoy their meal. The students never stopped dancing and it was a party all night to a mix of Hip Hop, Latin, Pop Hits, and Caribbean favorites. Shortly after a few dance songs, I invited several groups to the lobby area for photos of the Homecoming court and some sports teams. Congratulations to the elected Homecoming King and Queen! You guys worked hard for it and it was well deserved. Thank you to Ms. Julie and all the students for being such a great crowd.
