On Saturday September 18th, I played for Gina & Al Mazzarella at Deer Creek Country Club. The guest list of 40 people were mainly from Brooklyn, N.Y. The ceremony took place in front of the picturesque waterfall surrounded by tropical landscaping. Gina walked to a song by Kenny Latimore, "For You" and once they said their I do's the party started. Al & Gina's first dance was a classic by Barry White, accompanied by Pavarotti,(My First, My Last, My Everything). This song was special to Gina and very hard to find. Thank God I was able to download it from You Tube. Friends & family danced to everything from classic disco & the popular Empire State of Mind, to traditional Italian Music. I want to say hats off to Cindy & her staff at Deer Creek (One of the more popular locations for wedding receptions in Broward County), they did a first class job in keeping the guests smiling all night long! I sincerely enjoyed being a part of Gina & Al's special day...Actually I felt like FAMILY.....Eddie B!
