Good day bloggers!
DJ Gregg here again with this weeks installment. We shift gears a little and bring you to the Mitzvah of the Sheir Masonett family. It was held on October 25th, 2014 at the Homestead Golf and Country Club with over 200 guests in attendance.
This was not your typical Mitzvah as there were 4 people that were celebrated. Three of the siblings and Grandma!
I also had the pleasure of working with DJ Keith. He is an awesome DJ and since the client wanted a Club feeling, he fit right in.
As we arrived, the guests were outside at the ceremony.
The room was decorated with beautiful purple and flowers.
Eddie B and Company supplied the DJ, LED Up Lights and LED dance floor lights as well as the Photo Booth.
We were everywhere!
As the guests came into the room we were instructed to keep the club vibe flowing. Keith played some great remixes of old and new songs. I was really enjoying his selection.
I then lined up the family for the grand entrance. We played "I Gotta Feeling" and the crowd went crazy!
We proceeded into the candle lighting ceremony. Since there were multiple people being celebrated, they all took turns at inviting family and friends to light their special candles.
After this, I played the celebration Hora. EVERYBODY got up to dance!. The dance floor was packed.
Once the dinner service started, I was asked by Bonnie, the mom, to pick up the pace. So, while dinner was being served, Keith turned up the heat. Safe to say, the dinner got cold and the dance floor was packed!
These guys wanted to party...not eat!
We kept the club music going for the entire evening, throwing in some classics and Top 40 for good measure.
I would have to say that this was a very fun party...I know I had a good time!
