New Year's Day Wedding Aboard the Catalina Yacht

Lindy and Kevin Wood celebrated their wedding aboard the Catalina Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 1/1/2023.  Approximately 120 guests boarded the Catalina that Sunday late afternoon and prepared for a 4 hour wedding cruise along the intercostal waterways of S. Florida.  They were all directed to the top deck for the ceremony and cocktail hour.  I played a mix of tropical tunes for the cocktail hour then all of the guests came down to the main deck for dinner, toasts and dancing.  Will (BM) and Elizabeth (MOH) gave the toasts then everyone enjoyed a buffet style dinner.  The cake cutting was held after dinner then the dance floor opened up some some dancing fun.  I played a mix of oldies, group dances and top 40 and I also took requests for some couples dances.  As the Catalina approached the dock I played Last Dance by Donna Summer and that put a bow on a nice New Years Day wedding cruise.
