This was a New Years Eve Bash for The Tower Club of Ft. Lauderdale members.  The Tower Club is on the 28th floor of the Wacovia building in Ft. Lauderdale.  I played at  their New Years Eve Party last year. They had so much fun last year that they booked with us in January of 2010 for this party.  Last years party was great but this one was even better.  All of the guests arrived at about 8:30, dressed to party.  I saw a few familiar faces and some new faces.  They enjoyed  salads and the main course from 9 to 10 then the dancing began.  I played a wide variety of music from the 50's to top 40, to latin classics.  I even got a request for cha cha, mambo, waltz, tango and rhumba.  There were guests from the age of 20 to 70's.  At 12 midnight we did the count down.  At that point everyone was on the dance floor at one time.  The members danced till 1AM to mostly up-beat music.  I'm looking forward to playing at this event for New Years Eve 2011.  Like always the staff at The Tower Club treat me like royalty.  Even the staff was dancing that night to all the hits.
