New Years Eve Birthday Party at a Private Residence

Melody had her Birthday Party on New Years Eve and I was happy to be her DJ! Melody and I are BOTH New Years Eve babies and celebrating our Birthdays on the same day. The party was at a house where a dance floor was set up on top of the pool with lights underneath, a very cool and popular thing to do. Melody is a successful author and also loves to golf. Her friends had a wonderful surprise for her! They each came up with a different word to describe her from every letter of the alphabet. She is truly loved! Melody is so kind that knowing it was my birthday, and also another person's birthday she had cakes brought out for us with candles to blow out. Such a kind woman. We partied through the night to songs like Sia-Unstoppable, Kesha - We R Who We R, Lizzo - It's About Damn Time, Nicki Minaj - Starships, Pitbull - Fireball, Sister Sledge - We Are Family, LMFAO - Party Rock. At midnight we counted down the seconds and welcomed 2023! I played Auld Lang Syne and also played Truly Madly Deeply by Savage Garden which was Melody and her husband's wedding song. We finished the night to songs like Weather Girls - It's Raining Men and Usher - DJ Got Us Falling In Love. Melody and her friends were so wonderful and I hope I will be back for her birthday party next year and ring in 2024 with them! DJ Chris Nelson
