New Years Eve Party at GiGi's / Hollywood

On 12/31/2011 I had the pleasure of playing at GiGi's Waterfront Bar and Grill for their annual New Years Eve Bash.  At approximately 9pm the doors opened for dinner and drinks.  There were about 400 guests that evening who either enjoyed an early dinner or enjoyed a late dinner and dancing with yours truly DJ Ray.  At about 10pm I began to slowly pick up the tempo of the music and by 10:30 the crowd began to fill up the dance floor.  They began to hand out noise makers and party hats as everyone anticipated the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012.  At about ten seconds to the new year we all counted down and just like that 2012 was here!!!  There was no agenda for the music that night so I took requests and played my mix of music that had everyone partying.  The guests were from 30 to 70 years old so I had to reach deep for some songs.  All in all it was a great night and I met a lot of fun people.  Special thanks to Danny and his wonderful staff.  You guys really know how to throw a bash!!
