New Years Eve Wedding at Benvenutos
RyanMarie and Jake Tover celebrated their dream New Years Eve wedding at Benvenuto's of Boynton Beach, FL on 12/31/2016. This wedding had it all!! From a beautiful ceremony to a fun cocktail hour to a reception with a New Years Eve count-down!! After the happy couple tied the knot all of the 160 guests were invited to the cocktail hour in the courtyard. I played a mix of easy listening/Rat Pack favorites while everyone enjoyed drinks and appetizers. Myself and Chris also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber colored, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and our signature "Strike A Pose" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. After the cocktail hour all of the guests were directed to the ballroom for the grand entrance and reception. I lined up the 18 member bridal party and they were ready to rock. RyanMarie chose I Gotta Feeling by The Black Eyed Peas for the bridal party entrance and Dancing In The Moonlight by Top Loader for her and Jake's entrance. The first dance was to Stand By Me by Ben E. King then RyanMarie danced with her dad to Me and My Shadow by Sinatra and Davis and Jake danced with his mom to A Song For My Son by Micki Vierek. The toasts were given by McKenzie (maid of honor) and Sam (best man) then Uncle Wayne Tover blessed the Challah before the meals. Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 4 course meal. Jake did not provide me with a play list since they trusted my musical knowledge. They did ask me to have fun and the play to their guests. This was one of the most fun/over the top groups I have ever played for. They dance to everything I played including top 40, country, disco, 80s and 90s dance hits and classic rock. I did take a few requests for some of the newer group dances and for a few love songs. There was a cake cutting ceremony that evening but no garter bouquet toss. We did also have a count-down right as the clock struck 12. The closing song for the evening was Don't Stop Believing by Journey and that is how this amazing wedding came to an end!! Congrats to RyanMarie, Jake and the entire Tover and Parascondola families. Special thanks to the staff and management at Benvenuto's for always providing 5 star service!!
