New Years Eve Wedding at Key Largo Lighthouse

Kristy and Gary Bergen celebrated their New Years Eve Wedding at the Key Largo Lighthouse in Key Largo, FL on 12/31/2024.  Approximately 40 close friends and family members arrived to the lighthouse and were directed to the beach-side ceremony overlooking the Gulf.  The cocktail hour took place at the tiki hut and that is where all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers as the happy couple posed for pictures with immediate family members.  When it was time for the formal dances, we all made a big circle on the dance floor.  Kristy and Gary chose I Will Take You Forever by Christopher Cross then Kristy danced with her son Brady and Gary dance with his daughters (Ally, Audrey and Annie) to Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder.  Everyone was then invited to the reception tent for a buffet style dinner, toasts, the blessing of the meals and the cake cutting along with an extensive dessert station.  Kristy did provide me with a playlist that included classic rock, 80s and 90s dance hits, disco and motown.  Perfect mix of genres for this very fun group of guests.  They danced the night away and also requested that I play some latin favorites.  When the clock struck 12 everyone made their way to the beach for a firework show from a barge on the water.
