New Years Party Aboard the Caprice Yacht
Thursday, December 31st NYE - The Caprice Yacht out of Miami
I had the honor of DJing and MCing on New Years Eve aboard the Caprice Yacht in Miami. We had a boat full of 300 people that were looking to bring in the new year sailing the inner coastal over looking Miami. With a Pitbull Concert going on downtown all of the lights, buildings and fireworks were a spectacle to see! As guests boarded the Caprice, I played a mixture of 80s through 2000s Pop, Rock and R&B. Once the guests were all settled we set sail. After a brief cocktail hour, I kicked it into gear and worked the crowd to get them on their feet. Within a few minutes, we had a lively bunch dancing the night away. The dance floor was packed as was the top deck with people dancing to a mixture of up beat 80s through 2000s Pop, Hip Hop and Top 40. Just before the clock struck midnight, I made the announcement for everyone get get ready for the countdown. I got the crowd going and cheering in time for the countdown. As the clock struck midnight, I played Auld Lang Syne, the classic NYE song. We rang in the new year with everyone cheering and watching the fireworks display put on by downtown Miami and the Pitbull concert. It was an amazing sight to see!
