Party Aboard the Catalina Yacht for the U.S. Dive Team

The U.S. Dive Team held their annual gala aboard the Catalina Yacht on 5/12/2013.  Approximately 240 guests boarded the Catalina on the dock at Bahia Mar Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale FL for a wild/fun party. Every year this event get bigger and bigger.  This was my 3rd time playing music for them and they can really get down.  I was set up on the top deck were there is a big dance floor area and a bar.  The dinner was held on the first deck with a buffet style meal.  Most of the guests spent all 4 hours on the top deck dancing and partying.  I played a mix of top 40, 80's, classic rock and took plenty of requests. The president of the Dive Team did take a moment to hand out special awards to this years top divers then the dancing continued.  I can't wait to see what they have in store for next years bash!!! This was one of the most energetic/fun crowds I have worked for.  See you guys next year!!!
