Private Event Aboard the Catalina Yacht

The Tropical Running Crew held their annual event aboard the Catalina Yacht out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 1/3/2025.  Approximately 130 members boarded the Catalina that Friday evening for a 3 hour cruise along the S. Florida inter-coastal water ways.  The cocktail hour was held on the top deck and that is where everyone enjoyed drinks and appetizers while they all mingled and soaked in the beautiful view.  The dinner and awards portion of the evening took place on the main deck.  They all made their way down, found their seats and prepared for a buffet style dinner.  After dinner the dance floor erupted and it became an all-out dance party till the end.  I played a mix of latin favorites, top 40, 80s and 90s dance hits and club bangers.  Perfect mix of genres for this very energetic group of guests.  They danced the night away and as we approached the dock I played Last Dance by Donna Summer and that put a bow on a fantastic dinner cruise.

Congrats to the Tropical Running Crew for another stellar year and I hope to see them all again next year.
