Puppy Up Dog Walk at TY Park
DOG Walk @ T.Y.Park
Sunday November 3, 2013 the Second Annual Puppy Up Walk at TY park in Hollywood started at 9am. As people registered for the walk with their dogs your nothing but a hound dog was played. The event was part of a national fundraising effort called 2 million Dogs/2 Miles which raises money for cancer research in dogs. Before everyone started the 2 mile walk Jimmy Hendrix version of the star spangle banner was played. It was amazing. As people started the 2 miles walk I played who let the dogs out woof woof!!! Everyone was laughing and having a good time with the walk and there pets. After the walk they had a contest with dogs doing tricks as well as a dog owner fashion show. Vender booths selling dog items and local stores and business were set up along the parameter of the main pavilion. At the end of the event raffles that had been sold all morning winner were drawn and the silent auction winners were announced. As the walk came to an end and everyone was packing up I played a remix to who let the dogs out woof woof!!! DJ/MC Frankie Arlotta
