Quince Celebration at Shooters on the Waterfront

Andrea's Quinceañera celebration was held inside the private room on the second floor of Shooters Waterfront in Fort Lauderdale on Friday, May 16th. Guests began to arrive shortly after 7:00pm for the cocktail hour as hors d’oeuvres were passed around and specialty mocktails were available at the bar. Around 7:20pm I invited the guests to stand and make some noise as we all welcomed Andrea to her birthday celebration to This Is What You Came For by Rihanna. The night began with a traditional changing of the shoes followed immediately by a father daughter waltz to La Valse de L’Amour by Patrick Doyle which lead into a surprise breakout dance to a mix of songs featuring funny dance moves from Mel and Andrea. Our guest of honor then danced with her sister, mother, and little cousins to more mixes of songs to make all the guests dance around. Following some speeches honoring Andrea and her accomplishments and a short slideshow, we sang happy birthday to our guest of honor which then opened up the dance floor to a blend of some great songs that had everyone up for an Hora Loca like none other.
