Quinceanera at the Renaissance Hotel / Boca Raton
Delia and Luis Velez were the proud hosts of their beautiful daughter Jesenia's Quinceanera at the Renaissance Hotel in Boca Raton, FL on 1/23/2015. Approximately 120 close friends and family members were greeted as they entered the hotel at the cocktail hour. All of the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers as I played a mix of salsa classics. Also during that hour, myself and DJ Jerry decorated the ballroom with 24 Royal Blue, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram with (Jesenia's Quince) and our signature "Strike A Pose" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up Jesenia and her court for the grand entrance. The parents and grand parents entered to We Are Family by Sister Sledge, the court entered to Yeah 3x by Chris Brown and Jesenia entered to All Of The Lights by Rihanna and Kanye. Jesenia danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw then both of her Uncles danced with her to My Wish by Rascal Flatts. The birthday girl then took the time to thank everyone for attending with her own speech then Delia (mom) gave her own speech and wished her daughter a very happy birthday. Most Quinces have a wedding feel to them and this one was right on cue. After the main course the dance floor filled up quickly. Jesenia did provide me with an extensive play list that included top 40, alternative, EDM, r&b, hip-hop, and latin. It's safe to say that everyone really enjoyed themselves and the way I mixed all of the genres. We did pause to sing Happy Birthday to Jesenia and the cake was served as dessert along with a candy station. Everyone danced until the end and as I played the closing song which was Last Dance by Donna Summer, all of the remaining guests gathered around Yesenia on the dance floor!! Great way to end an amazing Quince!! Congrats to Delia and Luis for raising an exceptional daughter and to Jesenia and her amazing family. Happy Birthday Jesenia and many more!!!
