Andrea and Celio Moreira hosted a Quinceanera bash for their beautiful daughter Gabby on 6/8/2012 at Volunteer Park in Sunrise FL. After many months of preparation the big day was finally here and every guest that walked into the ballroom seemed very excited to celebrate with Gabby. The ballroom was decorated with lavender color up-lights, mini lasers and dance floor lights (provided by Eddie B & Co.) to set the party mood. After 45 minutes of appetizers and cocktails the show was soon to begin. I lined up Gabby's parents and the Quinceanera court for the grand entrance. Gabby's parents chose Aquarela Brazileira by Ray Conniff for their entrance, the court chose Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO for theirs and Gabby (being accompanied by Enzo) chose Everything Tonight by Pitbull and Ne-Yo. Everyone was on their feet and cheering for Gabby as she entered with Enzo who walked her over to her dad. Gabby chose My Heart Will Go On by Robert Devine Moore for her dance with her father. For the 10 member court including Gabby and Enzo the song chosen was Time To Say Goodbye also by Robert Devine Moore which included a choreographed dance. Gabby and her friends did a great job with the dance which was a waltz. Soon after the buffet was open and everyone got a chance to enjoy dinner along with a sweets table for dessert. When we first met and started planning this event the emphasis was put mostly on dancing and having the floor packed all night. Well Gabby's friends and family did not disappoint!! They danced and danced and danced until the last song. Gabby provided me with a list of 104 songs and I must have played at least 80 of them along with requests from the guests. They were fist pumping and jumping for a good 3 hours!!! Unbelievable!!! The highlight of the evening was when Gabby and her court changed their outfits and performed a flash mob to Set It Off by Timomatic. The only thing left to do with 1 hour to go was to sing Happy Birthday to Gabby. We all gathered by the beautiful birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday in English and in Portuguese as Gabby blew out the candles. Gabby's parents made a short but sweet toast then Gabby thanked everyone for attending. The dancing continued till the end and the last song was Glad You Came by The Wanted. Congrats to the Quinceanera Gabby and her wonderful parents Andrea and Celio Moreira for their hospitality. Viva Brazil!!!!! Also a special thanks to the event planner Mariela for an excellent job putting everything together and making it look easy. DJ Ray
