Senior Prom at the Hilton Hotel 17th Street

On Saturday, May 4th I was playing at the beautiful Hilton Ft. Lauderdale Marina for the Cardinal Gibbons High School Senior Prom. There were about 300 students in attendance to enjoy one final party with their classmates. The students were bussed in from Fort Lauderdale for the special event, complete with a huge dance floor and blue up lighting. I Invited them into the main room around 7:00pm for a buffet style dinner while I played some current Pop hits for them to enjoy their meal. The students never stopped dancing and it was a party all night to a mix of Hip Hop, Latin, Pop Hits, and Caribbean favorites. Shortly after a few dance songs, I invited the court to the dance floor for photos as Principal Cedeño announced the 2024 Prom King and Queen. Congratulations to the elected King and Queen! You guys worked hard for it and it was well deserved. Thank you to Ms. Julie and all the students for being such a great crowd. It was a really fun event and I hope to do their school dances, going forward. Best of luck to you all. - DJ ELOW
