Soccer Awards for 2,000 Children at the City of Parkland

Hello Party People!!! We had had an exciting Soccer awards day in Parkland this Past weekend. The turn out was amazing! Close to 2000 kids and families in the area come out to support the 2012-2013 soccer season. The event was held at Trails end Park. We set up at the amphitheater and brought an upgraded sound system to cover the entire area. We had a dance contest to kick off the event. After the contest the awards were given out to all the teams. While the awards were being passed out the vendors provided pizza, hotdogs, ice cream, hamburgers, polish sausage  and every other finger food you could imagine. Definitely not a day for calorie counting! Once the ceremony was over we cranked up the music and the kids danced to Gangnam Style. We had about 150 kids dancing at the same time. At the point I decided to see who could do this dance the best. I picked a young lady from the audience and she was our official judge. She picked the best kid out of the crowd and the kids and parents went wild! It was pretty amazing!!! We finished up the day with the classic freeze dance. At this point the crowd had a great time.
