Surprise Birthday Party in West Broward
“Surprise“!!
What a Surprise Birthday Party it was for the parents of Danielle. We all arrived 30 minutes before the birthday couple at the West Broward Masonic Lodge in Pembroke Pines. During the cocktail hour while awaiting the arrival of our honored guests, folks from as far as Alaska enjoyed the outdoor area along the lake as steel pan music played in the back ground.
Our guests of honor Arthur and Edna arrived; as they were greeted by family members and friends while the best “Happy Birthday “song by Byron Lee played. This is a special song as it combines the island spirit with Soca music to get the party started.
The rest of the evening was filled with more island favorites; “She’s Royal”; “Tiny Winey”; Say, Say” and more. For their cake cutting Danielle requested her parents’ wedding song “Endless Love”. As the parents danced and the cake was cut one could feel the love that everyone had for this couple in the room. There were no dry eyes.
The evening ended just as it had started - with a fun island party atmosphere!
