Sweet 16 Birthday Party Aboard the Catalina Yacht
A Beautiful Young Lady’s Sweet 16 brought the Catalina Yacht to life on March 23rd, 2013 with exquisite décor and lighting. Photographers and Videographers greeted the guests as they entered. Briana welcomed the guests as they boarded the Yacht. As the guest made there way aboard they were welcomed with some tropical steel drum music as hors d’oeuvres and cocktails were served. DJ Frankie changed up the music to all Country and R&B. After everyone was on board and we set sail the guest continued to mingle and enjoy the delicious appetizers prepared for them. Beautiful photos of Briana were spread around the yacht and on the tables. The bottom deck was decorated with pink up lights filling the room with a special look. Elegant pink décor delicately enhanced everything else. There was also an amazing pink cake and a custom foam creation with the Birthday Girls name on it. A photo booth from Eddie B. & Company was on the top deck along with a huge selection of props, which was on the Yacht through the entire duration of the event. Shortly after cocktail hour, DJ Frankie requested that everyone join together on the bottom deck to introduce the wonderful Briana Lucente and her father. It was now time for the Father/Daughter dance which was performed to “Daughters” by John Mayer. Right after the Father/Daughter dance Briana had a traditional candle lighting of the Sixteen Candles. Briana read a poem for each candle she dedicated to family and friends. DJ Frankie played special dedicated songs for each person that lit a candle. Right after the candle lighting, several family and friends made heart touching speeches.
After half the speeches, a moment of silence was taken as Briana’s brother Michael performed that evenings blessing, which gave the guests a nice warm welcome to that evening’s dinner.
Two buffet stations served dinner to the guests. DJ Frankie played more Country and R&B during dinner. After dinner it was time to cut the cake. The Photographers and Videographers captured every little moment of this special once in a lifetime experience. After that the rest of the speeches were made. Then DJ Frankie made the entire room race to the dance floor to some new hot hip hop, Followed by the “Cupid Shuffle” which got the whole Yacht dancing.
The adults were asked to make their way to the upper deck, while the teens remained on bottom deck for there party time. DJ Frankie had the teens partying, spinning Briana’s (The Birthday Girl) desired music and of the hottest music. Then some the adults made there way down to the bottom deck to join the fun. Everyone was one the dance floor having the time of there life, when two of Briana’s Friends asked to do a dance for her to “Work” By Ciara. Everyone stopped and enjoyed this special surprise.
