Jeff and Julie Underwood are the proud parents of Jody Underwood who celebrated her Sweet 16 at the Jacaranda C.C. on 9/14/2012 with approximately 90 close friends and family members. The event began with a short cocktail hour. While everyone was enjoying drinks and appetizers, Jody was posing for pictures with all of her friends. Jody requested that for her grand entrance her parents, sister Jessie and herself enter to Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO. As she walked on to the dance floor she danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw. Soon after she dedicated 16 individual roses to 16 special people. Her father Jeff made a brief speech and grandma gave the prayer before the meal. Everyone was then invited to a kids buffet style dinner. I was not provided with a song list but Jody did tell me that her friends love to dance and have fun. I played a mix of top 40, hip-hop and dance classics through out the night. The highlight of the evening was dancing to the group dances (The Wobble, Cha Cha Slide, The Cupid Shuffle and Cotton Eyed Joe). For dessert all of the guests were treated to birthday cup-cakes and a candy/sweets table. Congrats to Jody and her wonderful family and friends for a great birthday celebration. Happy Birthday and many, many more!!! DJ Ray
