Sweet 16 Celebration Aboard the Sun Dream Yacht

Trinity's Sweet 16 on 5/11/18 aboard the Sun Dream

Trinity's Sweet 16 was held aboard the beautiful Sun Dream Yacht in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Friday, May 11th. Guests began to arrive shortly after 7pm as some background pop music played throughout the boat while everyone was socializing. During the cocktail hour we held a dance segment on the dance floor while I played some party classics like the Cha Cha Slide by Mr C. and Conga by Gloria Estefan while the guest of honor led everyone in a conga line. At 8:30 I invited the guests down to the dining deck for their 3 course meal for the evening as I played some cool jazz so the guests can talk and enjoy themselves. Around 9:15pm I invited the guests back upstairs to gather around the dance floor on the mid-deck as we all welcomed Trinity and sang Happy Birthday to kick off the party. We then celebrated with a big group hug before I asked the guests to make some room and invited her dad to dance with her in the center for the father daughter dance. They chose a shortened version of Blue Danube by Johann Strauss. Toward the end of the waltz I asked the happy couples in the room to join Trinity and her dad, and everyone joined hands and danced around. I then invited everyone to the back of the room to watch Trinity cut her sweet 16 cake while I played Cake by the Ocean by DNCE. After that I invited everyone back to the dance floor to party for the rest of the night. I played a nice mix of latin favorites with some new hip hop for the teens. .
