Sweet "16" Celebration at the Parkland Golf & Country Club
Marley's Sweet 16 was held at the beautiful Parkland Country Club in Parkland, FL on Saturday, October 10th. Approximately 80 close friends and family members were in attendance for Marley's special day to help welcome her into womanhood. The guests began to arrive shortly after 7pm as I played some background cocktail music while we waited for her arrival. As Marley entered the room, the guests cheered loudly and paraded her around, taking pictures and congratulating her. Once everyone was settled, I introduced Marley's father and asked him to join his daughter for their first dance. After their dance everyone cheered loudly as i opened up the dance floor to all the guests before the buffet-style dinner was ready. The guests didnt seem too interested in dinner so I turned up the music to get everyone dancing for the rest of the evening, holding dance contests and challenging some of her friends to some dance battles for cash prizes. Around 9:00 Marely's Mom, Laneia Hall, had a nice speech prepared followed by a DVD slideshow for the guests, but that wasn't the last surprise. After the DVD I invited everyone outside for a group photo where Marley received her very first car issued by her parents.
