Sweet 16 Party at a Private Estate

I DJed Summer's Sweet 16 celebration on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the family's home in Coral Springs. About 60 friends and family came to the party. As people arrived I played songs from Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, and Christmas music from Mariah Carey, Michael Buble and Ariana Grande. The guests enjoyed drinks and food for the first hour while all of Summer's friends arrived. 

After about an hour of mingling it was time to get people up dancing with the Cupid Shuffle and the Conga line! I followed that with In Da Club, "Go Shawty it's your birthday!" as a tribute to Summer followed by Cardi B - Up and Nikki Minaj - Super Freaky Girl. I played a set of latin music with Suavemente, Vivir Mi Vida and La Rebelliion. That was followed by Bad Bunny - Moscow Mule, Daddy Yankee - Gasolina, and Sean Paul - Temperature, Farruko - Pepas and Don Omar - Danza Kuduro.

I played Rich Flex, Twerk by City Girls, and Baby by Justin Bieber and Ludacris. Both parents and Summer and her friends were up dancing. I let Summer's friend Mateo get behind the DJ booth and be my co-DJ! We sang happy birthday to Summer and she blew out the candles. I played the classics Happy Birthday Sweet 16 and Sixteen Candles. I played another Latin set with Romeo Santos, Celia Cruz and Joe Arroyo. We ended the night with throwbacks from the 90s and early 2000s from Biggie Smalls, Jay-Z, Snoop and 2Pac. The party was a blast and I wish Summer the very best and hope she had the time of her life!
