Valentines Day Cruise Aboard the Catalina Yacht

The Catalina Yacht held a Valentine's Day Cruise out of the Double Tree Hotel on the inter-coastal on 2/14/2012 for approximately 49 couples.  This is a yearly event but it was my first Valentine's Day Cruise and it was unforgettable.  The weather was perfect that evening so there were plenty of couples on the top level enjoying the view and getting some fresh air during cocktail hour.  Diner was buffet style on the first level but the dancing was on both levels.  After dinner I played a mix of top 40, disco, classic rock and latin.  Of course I had to sprinkle in a few romantic love songs for the lovers.  There was one couple that was married for over 40 years and another couple that got engaged that day.  So I did have to play a wide variety of music.  I got to meet a few nice couples and handed out plenty of business cards.  Hopefully I can work this event again next year.  DJ Ray
