Valentines Day Cruise Aboard the Catalina Yacht

Well another year, another Valentine's Day Cruise aboard the Catalina Yacht.  This the 3rd year that I was chosen to DJ this particular cruise.  The yacht leaves from the dock of the Double Tree Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale and cruises up and down the inter-coastal water ways for 4 hours.  There were approximately 70 couples that enjoyed a night of drinks, appetizers, dinner and a few good tunes.  I let them know that I do take requests and that the dance floor was open all night.  They spent the first hour mostly up on the top deck mingling, then they all came down to the lower deck to eat dinner.  Both bars were very busy that night and after dinner the dance floor was busy.  I played a mix of top 40, disco, classic rock, 80's dance and of course love songs.  I also played about 9 different first dance songs that were requested and the anniversary dance was one by a couple that had been married for 46 years.  What a great way to spend Valentine's Day with your loved ones and a few friends.  Can't wait to do it all again next year.!!! xoxo
