On Monday (Valentines Day), I played for Steven and Ellen Pasciotty at the Pelican Beach Resort on Ft. Lauderdale beach! The weather was perfect and the setting for the ceremony on the rooftop of the resort, was breath taking. 35 family members and guests gathered to witness the exchange of vows and congratuale Ellen & Steven after they said their I Do's! Ellen walked to "At Last" by Etta James, and their recessional song was "The Promise" by When In Rome. A cocktail reception followed on the rooftop, and I created a 1hour personalized playlist as requested by Ellen & Steven. A variety of pop music and classic hits kept the guests happy while they enjoyed appetizers, drinks, and the view! Then everyone was invited downstairs to the outside pavillion and I introduced Ellen & Steven to "I got A Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas and they danced their first dance "She" by Elvis Costello. After the guests enjoyed an unbelievable buffet (stone crabs included), I started working Ellens' playlist, which was a mixture of Top 40 club hits and some Disco classics with a dash of Salsa mixed in. I want two say 2 thumbs up to Brigette and her staff for making this day a memorable one for everyone! This was a picture perfect wedding on a picture perfect day....DJ/MC Eddie B!
